A rare and fully complete collector's piece! This historical card game, Copyright 1899 by Geo. S. Parker (Parker Brothers Inc., No. 1123), is one of the company's early "Authors"-style games.
The set is confirmed 100% complete and in good antique condition (all 52 cards, original instruction leaflet, and period box included). The game challenged players to match poems and authors from four "Classes": America, Ireland, England, and Scotland.
The box features the classic Parker Brothers horseback rider design and shows charming age-related wear, while the contents are well-preserved for this 125-year-old rarity. A truly exceptional addition for collectors of vintage toys, early Parker Brothers memorabilia, or 19th-century Americana.
