True vintage 50s silk hand beaded black dress LBD

This is an exquisite example of 50s homemade couture. The fabric is 100% silk (my tailor did a burn test) brocade with flower print, beaded and sequined by hand. The silk has a delicate shine and it’s a deep black color. The beads are glass. The dress has a beautifully shaped neckline and an even more stunning back. It closes with the original metal zipper and hooks. The paper lining keeps the shape intact and creates a gorgeous silhouette. The very dress has a generous seam allowance. You can see the stitches from the beading on the lining. This is an incredibly beautiful, elegant and feminine dress made with an incredible level of craftsmanship.
