This charming antique Christmas postcard features a rosy-cheeked young girl in a blue winter coat and hat, holding what appears to be sled ropes. She stands in the snow, with a small sled carrying a holly bush beside her. In the background, a snow-covered landscape with a church steeple is visible, framed by holly branches. The card reads "Christmas Greetings." The reverse side is postmarked "MONMOUTH, ILL." and dated December 22, 1910, bearing a one-cent U.S. postage stamp. It is addressed to "Miss Louise Anderson, Monmouth, R.F.D. 9 Ill." and includes a handwritten message, "Wish you a merry Xmas & a Happy New Year. R.J.N."
